Carlsbad Flower Fields are a great spring weekend getaway in Southern California. If you are visiting California this is something definitely worth adding to your itinerary along with other attractions in the area. Walk around the hills through this colorful display or take a wagon trip, and when you are done here dig your feet in the sand at the beach.

A bouquet from Costa Rica. Not many, but definitely some of the prettiest tropical flowers. I got most of the names and hope I got them right. As always please feel free to correct me and help me with the names I missed.
Here are some of the flowers we captured in Big Island and Kauai (click here for trip report). Feel free to comment if you know the missing names.
We love photographing flowers and mushrooms and I especially love spotting them in the wild. These are some of the flowers and berries we captured on our trip to Oregon (click here for full trip report). I am not sure how many of these are native to Oregon. Please feel free to comment below if you know the names to the unknown ones or if I got any of the names wrong.
Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve displays a brilliant orange carpet of California Poppies every spring. 70 miles north of Los angeles and 20 miles west of Lancaster, this reserve blooms between mid March to early May, influenced largely by the weather.
